Custom Irregular Glass Perfume Bottles 30/50/100ml with Ball Cap
Boyu Packaging’s irregular glass perfume bottle pairs a sculpted clear body with a spherical wood-look cap and pump sprayer. The coordinated 30 mL, 50 mL and 100 mL options suit fragrance collections that need a recognizable silhouette across travel, core and larger retail sizes. Bottle color and logo decoration can be specified for an OEM order.

Why this format works for a fragrance line
The asymmetric, thick-looking profile gives the bottle a distinct shelf presence without requiring three unrelated designs for the 30, 50 and 100 mL range. Clear glass displays the fill color; a custom color or coating can change the visual direction for a private-label collection. The sprayer provides controlled application, while the rounded cap gives the pack a consistent visual signature.
For alcohol-based perfume, appearance alone is not enough. Approve the assembled bottle, sprayer and cap together with the actual formula. Confirm spray pattern, fit, leakage after transport simulation, and the durability of any coating or logo print before releasing mass production. Boyu’s guide to packaging compatibility test duration explains how to plan the evaluation; its conditions must be adapted to the finished fragrance pack. See the gama de envases para perfumes for adjacent formats.

Customization and ordering
Send the target capacity, estimated quantity (minimum 10,000 pieces), color reference, logo artwork, intended fragrance formula and destination market. Boyu can then confirm the available cap and sprayer specification, decoration route, sample requirements, production schedule and shipping plan in a written quotation. A new bottle shape or changed neck finish may require tooling; the pictured silhouette should not be assumed to need a new mold until the selected version is checked. For an exclusive silhouette, use the perfume bottle design process to develop a production-ready brief before requesting a mold quote.
Before production, approve one physical sample for each capacity and decoration variant. Keep that sample and the agreed drawing as the reference for color, dimensions, assembly and final inspection. Materials, fit and finish
The specified bottle body is glass. Compared with PET, glass gives a heavier hand feel and a different optical finish, but it also raises shipping weight and breakage risk. PET is lighter and often more impact-tolerant; it should not be substituted for this glass design without a separate formula-compatibility and appearance review. High-clarity glass can reveal the fragrance color, while an opaque or coated finish can conceal it. A surface coating is a decorative layer, not a substitute for checking the underlying bottle and closure fit.
The pictured assembly has a spherical dark cap, a metallic-looking collar and a spray pump. The available attributes do not identify the cap’s exact material, the glass composition, the pump’s wetted materials, the neck finish or the nominal spray output. These are order specifications, not details to infer from a photograph. Ask Boyu for a component bill of materials and a dimensioned drawing for each capacity. If a natural-wood cap is required rather than a wood-look cap, specify species, finish, color variation and moisture-resistance expectations in the RFQ.
Size and weight: what must be confirmed
The 30, 50 and 100 mL figures are nominal capacity options; they are not the brimful volume or external dimensions. No reliable height, maximum width/diameter, empty-bottle weight or minimum wall-thickness value is provided in the selected key attributes. An irregular bottle may have different glass distribution at corners, shoulders and base, so one wall-thickness number would be misleading without a measurement location and tolerance. For automated filling, request the overall height with cap, body width and depth, base contact area, neck finish, nominal and brimful capacities, empty weight, dimensional tolerances and pallet/carton dimensions for each SKU.

Where the bottle fits—and where it may not
This pack is intended for fine-fragrance formats such as eau de parfum, eau de toilette and compatible cologne. The 30 mL option can support a compact retail or discovery line; 50 mL is a versatile mid-size presentation; 100 mL gives a larger shelf format. The form is especially suited to boutique fragrance, gifting and coordinated brand families where the cap and sculpted body are part of the visual identity.
Do not assume the same pump suits every fragrance base. High oil content, unusual solvents or suspended ingredients can change spray quality, prime retention and component compatibility. The selected pump should be tested with the actual filled product. This is a spray bottle, not a reed-diffuser vessel; its neck and closure should not be repurposed for diffuser sticks without a separate design.
How Boyu should control quality on a custom order
For a 10,000-piece project, the practical control point is an approved assembly, not just an attractive empty bottle. Define a signed reference sample and inspection sheet covering appearance, fill capacity, neck fit, cap fit, spray function, decoration and packing. At incoming inspection, check glass for cracks, stones, sharp edges and unacceptable cosmetic defects. At assembly, verify pump seating and cap retention. After decoration, compare color and logo placement with the approved sample and test coating or print adhesion against the agreed handling conditions.
Leakage prevention: qualify the complete bottle–pump combination at the intended fill level. Check seal integrity after assembly and after the shipping configuration has been challenged by vibration, handling orientation and temperature conditions appropriate to the route. A decorative outer cap does not itself create the liquid seal; the critical interfaces are the pump, gasket and neck. Agree on test method, sample size and acceptance criteria in writing before mass production. For a deeper explanation of fragrance closure choices, see Boyu’s perfume bottle crimping guide.
OEM workflow, tooling and production planning
- Brief: share capacity mix, order quantity, formula type, cap preference, color, artwork, market and target ship date.
- Revisión técnica: confirm the available bottle mold, neck finish and compatible sprayer; request a drawing for each size.
- Muestras: approve the physical bottle, filled appearance, decoration and assembled spray function.
- Commercial approval: sign off the bill of materials, quality criteria, tooling ownership if applicable, carton specification, Incoterm and delivery milestones.
- Producción y liberación: inspect glass, decoration and assembly; retain inspection evidence and a reference sample; release packed cartons against the agreed standard.
If the existing pictured bottle mold and neck specification meet the project, a new bottle mold may not be necessary. A changed silhouette, capacity geometry or neck interface can require new tooling and requalification. Decoration setup, cap tooling and carton artwork can have separate minimums. Sampling and mass-production lead times must be quoted for the approved configuration; they are not fixed by the product photograph.

Typical production route for this glass perfume pack
Once the drawing and approved sample are frozen, the glass producer prepares the selected mold and forms the bottle body. Bottles then pass through annealing, which relieves forming stresses before handling and decoration. The bare-glass lot is screened for cracks, inclusions, neck defects, unstable bases and unacceptable shape or capacity variation. Approved bottles move to the agreed color or surface treatment; logo decoration follows only after the finish has passed the reference-sample check. The chosen pump, collar and cap are assembled or packed as specified, then the finished units are inspected and protected in export cartons. The proceso de fabricación de frascos de perfume de vidrio guide explains the forming and annealing stages in more detail.
This is the process sequence to agree with Boyu for the selected SKU, not a claim that every operation takes place in one building. The order documents should identify the responsible production and decoration sites, the hand-off inspection points, the approved component suppliers and the lot traceability method. Changes to the sprayer, coating, cap or production site after sample approval should trigger a documented review before substitution.
Quality-control gates worth putting in the purchase order
Before production: approve capacity-specific drawings, a golden sample, artwork placement and an agreed defect catalogue. During glass production: check neck dimensions, brimful capacity, weight distribution and critical visual defects against agreed tolerances. After decoration: inspect color consistency, coating coverage, print position and adhesion on the actual finish. After assembly: check sprayer priming, actuation, cap retention and leakage with a test method suitable for the formula and transport route. Antes del envío: verify quantity, carton labels, protective packing, pallet stability and inspection records. Acceptance levels and sampling plans belong in the signed quality agreement; none can be inferred from the listing image.
Lead-time planning without an unreliable blanket promise
Ask for a dated schedule with separate commitments for engineering review, sample dispatch, sample approval, tooling (if needed), glass forming, decoration, pump/cap procurement, final inspection and freight hand-over. The critical path can shift: a ready mold does not help if the selected cap or sprayer arrives late, and a late artwork revision can restart decoration approval. Reserve freight only after the approved configuration and production release date are confirmed. Boyu should state the quoted lead time and its start event—such as deposit and final sample approval—in writing for this exact order.
Price, sustainability and delivery
Price is quotation-based. The meaningful comparison is a complete landed pack: glass bottle, sprayer, cap, decoration, inspection, inner protection, carton, freight and any tooling amortization. A lower bottle-only quote may exclude the cap or decoration. Ask for the unit price at each capacity, the capacity split within the 10,000-piece MOQ, sample/tooling charges, Incoterm, payment schedule and how over- or under-delivery is handled.
Glass can be recycled where local collection and processing accept the particular container, but the assembled pump, collar and cap may need to be separated. Refill or reuse should be claimed only after the selected pump and closure have been validated for repeated opening, cleaning and use; the available attributes do not establish a refill system. Likewise, no product-specific environmental or safety certification is asserted here. Ask for the material declaration and market-specific documentation required by your importer or brand.
For export, agree whether the goods ship as empty bottles, assembled packs or separated components. Specify dividers or trays to protect glass, carton drop/stacking requirements, pallet pattern, labeling, shipment inspection, destination documents and the process for reporting breakage or nonconformity. Boyu’s Hangzhou team can coordinate the specification, samples and order communication; the exact production site and schedule should be confirmed in the quotation. For customs and landed-cost planning, use the guía para importar frascos de perfume desde China. Photographs of damaged cartons, lot numbers and retained samples make after-sales claims easier to investigate.
Buyer questions
Are all three sizes dimensionally identical apart from capacity?
No dimensional relationship is specified. Ask for separate 30, 50 and 100 mL drawings, including overall height with cap, maximum width, neck finish and bottle weight.
Can the bottle be supplied with a custom logo or color?
Yes, custom color and customer-logo OEM decoration are listed options. The exact decoration method, appearance tolerance and durability requirements should be approved on a physical sample.
Will the assembled bottle be leakproof?
Leakage performance cannot be guaranteed from a catalog image. Test the selected bottle–pump–cap combination with the actual formula, fill level and shipping configuration before purchase approval.
Does the 10,000-piece MOQ apply per size and color?
The project MOQ is 10,000 pieces. The permitted split among capacities, colors and decoration versions has not been confirmed; obtain this in the written quote before building a multi-SKU launch plan.
How long will samples and bulk production take?
Timing depends on stock mold availability, cap and pump selection, decoration, sample revisions and production capacity. Request separate milestones for drawing approval, samples, bulk production, final inspection and dispatch.
What should a first-time importer send with an inquiry?
Send the target market, formula type, 30/50/100 mL quantity split, reference photo, artwork, cap preference, desired finish, delivery location and required ship date. Ask for a dimensioned drawing, component specification, sample and written quality plan before placing the order.
