Boyu Packaging: Factory or Trading Company? Inside Our Glass and Plastic Operations

Direct answer: Boyu Packaging is a manufacturer with integrated production and international trade—not a trading-only intermediary. The company identifies glass-packaging operations in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, plastic-packaging operations in Yuyao, Ningbo, and a commercial office in Hangzhou. For any particular order, buyers should still confirm the legal contracting entity, the actual site making each component, and which decoration or accessories are supplied by approved partners. A factory video is a useful introduction, but the approved drawing, production sample, site-specific records, and written quality agreement are what make a project verifiable.

Is Boyu Packaging a factory or a trading company?

Boyu Packaging uses a manufacturing-and-trade model. Its public product page says it operates production facilities and also offers global sourcing services. This is more precise than calling every item in a broad catalogue “made in one factory.” A finished cosmetic pack can combine a bottle body, pump, cap, gasket, decoration, carton, and export service; those parts may follow different production routes.

For buyers, the important distinction is who makes and controls the quoted item. Ask Boyu to identify the body-manufacturing site, the decoration site, and the source of closures and pumps in the bill of materials. If an operation is subcontracted, agree the approved source, acceptance method, traceability, and change-notification rule before tooling or bulk production. This is a stronger answer to “factory or trader?” than a badge, photo, or one-word claim.

Where do Boyu’s glass and plastic projects run?

Glass packaging: Xuzhou, Jiangsu

Boyu identifies Xuzhou as its glass-production base for projects such as perfume bottles, glass skincare containers, diffuser bottles, and other compatible glass packaging. The production route for a molded glass bottle involves forming, controlled cooling, inspection, and—when specified—finishing and component matching. A decorated bottle may pass through more than one workshop, so the quoted route should name which site forms the bare bottle and which site coats, prints, or assembles it.

For glass sourcing, request an approved drawing and samples that define capacity, bottle weight, neck geometry, cosmetic limits, and the pump or cap interface. For premium fragrance projects, a heavy base and complex silhouette also make glass distribution, annealing, and transport protection worth discussing. The separate cosmetic glass packaging range shows available product directions; the glass bottle manufacturing guide explains the forming sequence in more detail.

Plastic packaging: Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang

Boyu identifies Yuyao as its plastic-products production base. Depending on the component, a project may involve injection-molded closures or jars, blow-molded bottles, decoration, and assembly. PET, HDPE, and PP are common starting points, but the final resin grade and process must follow the formula, dispenser, appearance target, filling method, and destination market—not the product name alone.

For a plastic bottle, ask for the exact resin and grade, neck drawing, bottle weight range, color standard, mold/cavity control, closure match, and leak or dispensing checks appropriate to the finished set. Explore Boyu’s plastic cosmetic bottle range to narrow the format before requesting a sample.

What does Boyu Packaging supply?

Boyu’s published range covers glass and plastic bottles, perfume packaging, cream jars, cosmetic tubes, airless systems, pumps, sprayers, caps, and coordinated decoration. The strongest fit is a buyer who needs a complete empty-pack specification and one commercial contact to coordinate components; that does not mean every pump, tube, or carton is necessarily produced at the glass or plastic bottle base. Confirm the manufacturing route for the exact SKU in the quotation.

Typical project split

  • Glass body: shape, capacity, finish, weight, neck and appearance limits.
  • Plastic body or component: resin, color, dimensions, mold, closure fit and process consistency.
  • Decoration: coating, screen printing, hot stamping or labels against an approved color and adhesion standard.
  • Matched accessories: pump, cap, gasket, dip tube or insert, with source and replacement rules documented.
  • Export pack: unit protection, cartons, palletization and delivery terms matched to the shipment route.

Boyu’s public product catalogue is a browsing tool, not a substitute for a current model drawing or a project-specific offer. Published MOQ and lead-time examples vary by product, color, tooling and decoration; obtain separate commitments for each component before treating a system quote as fixed.

The video below is hosted on Boyu’s About Us page and shows general workshop activity. Its public page does not identify the pictured site’s address or connect it to a particular glass-bottle SKU, so treat it as a visual introduction, not proof of Xuzhou production or acceptance of your order.

Plastic bottle manufacturing video

Boyu’s YouTube video, Plastic Bottle Manufacturing Process | Inside Boyu Packaging Factory, is a more specific view of plastic-bottle production. It helps buyers ask process questions, but still does not replace a live tour or records for the exact mold, material and order.

If the embedded player is unavailable, watch the plastic-factory video on YouTube.

How a Boyu project moves from inquiry to shipment

  1. Brief and scope: share product/formula type, target fill, bottle or jar reference, closure, quantity by size and color, finish, destination, and planned fill date. State whether you need an existing mold or a proprietary design.
  2. Route and quotation: Boyu proposes a candidate body, closure and decoration route. The quotation should break out tooling, samples, each component MOQ, decoration, test responsibilities, Incoterm, and lead-time start point.
  3. Drawings and samples: approve dimensions, nominal and brimful capacities, neck/closure interface, color and artwork. A visual prototype checks appearance; production-intent samples check manufacturability and function.
  4. Validation: test the complete pack with the actual formula and filling process. Check compatibility, leakage, dispensing, decoration resistance, line handling and distribution risks as applicable. Our packaging compatibility protocol sets out the test questions.
  5. Production and release: freeze the approved specification and reference samples; record critical process and inspection checks, segregate defects, and verify the final packed lot before release. Confirm the corrective-action and replacement process in writing.
  6. Shipping and reorder: agree carton protection, labels, lot traceability, shipping documents and change notice. On reorder, verify that resin, glass source, pump, decoration and tooling have not changed without approval.

For a project with multiple sites or bought-in components, specify a single accountable contact at Boyu but keep the manufacturing-site map visible. The purchase order and quality agreement should define who investigates failures and who pays for a confirmed nonconforming lot—not leave those decisions to after-sales negotiation.

What should a buyer verify before placing an order?

Do not accept “factory-direct” as a complete quality claim. Ask for a project-specific evidence chain: the legal seller and invoice entity; production site for the body; any decorator or component supplier; approved drawing and bill of materials; production-intent sample; test plan and acceptance criteria; inspection record; and documented change control. A live video tour can confirm that the named operation exists, but a camera view cannot prove every shipment came from that line.

  • If the sample looks right but fails on your filling line: compare neck, base stability, conveyor handling, capper or crimper setup, and the tolerance stack on production-intent units.
  • If a pump or cap leaks: test the complete bottle–closure–gasket–formula system, not only the empty bottle. Record torque or crimp settings and sample orientation.
  • If color or printing varies: approve a physical limit sample, viewing light, measurement method, curing conditions and lot acceptance rule before the decorated run.
  • If delivery slips: ask whether the constraint is bare-bottle production, bought-in components, decoration, test approval or export packing. A milestone schedule with owners is more useful than one undifferentiated “lead time.”

For formal supplier onboarding, request a facility visit or independent audit of the actual site assigned to your SKU. The packaging quality agreement guide explains how to control material, pump and subcontractor changes after approval.

Frequently asked questions

Does Boyu make every listed product in one plant?

No such claim should be assumed. Boyu describes manufacturing facilities plus sourcing and coordination. Request the actual production route and approved suppliers for the bottle, pump, cap, decoration and carton in your specific quote.

Can buyers visit the Xuzhou or Yuyao production site?

Ask Boyu to arrange a visit or live walkthrough of the site assigned to your project. Confirm the address, host company, processes you may inspect, safety rules and whether your exact product or mold can be shown.

What MOQ and lead time should I budget?

Boyu’s public catalogue mentions starting points of 5,000 plastic bottles, 10,000 glass bottles and a standard 20–35-day production reference. These are supplier-published guides, not a commitment for every design. Ask for per-component, per-color and per-decoration MOQs, plus a dated schedule from final sample approval.

Do the photos and videos prove factory ownership or product quality?

No. They show activities Boyu has published and, in the YouTube case, a video posted under the Boyu Packaging name. Ownership, site assignment and repeatable quality require matching business/site documents, a live or independent audit, approved samples and order-specific records.
