300ml and 350ml Frosted HDPE Foam Pump Bottles with Viewing Strip

Boyu Packaging model BY-E350 is a customizable HDPE foaming bottle series developed for foaming hand soap, facial cleanser, lash shampoo and compatible low-viscosity personal-care formulas. The main 300ml and 350ml formats combine an impact-resistant HDPE body, a wide foam pump and an optional viewing strip that helps users monitor the remaining product. Frosted or custom-color surfaces, multiple bottle shapes and extensive decoration options make the series suitable for private-label brands, salons, hotels and household personal-care ranges.

Material and neck clarification: natural HDPE is normally translucent or milky rather than glass-clear. A “viewing strip” is usually created by leaving a narrow area natural or less pigmented; it is not equivalent to a transparent PET window. “43mm neck” is also incomplete unless the exact thread, sealing land and finish are shown on the approved drawing.

Key Features and Buyer Benefits

  • Impact-resistant HDPE: practical for daily-use products, e-commerce and long-distance distribution.
  • Optional viewing strip: provides a practical indication of the remaining product while keeping most of the bottle opaque.
  • Wide foam pump: creates dense foam from a compatible low-viscosity formula without propellant.
  • Shape choice: cylinder, square, Boston round and oval molds support different brand positions and carton layouts.
  • Broad size range: 300ml and 350ml core formats can be coordinated with larger family or professional sizes.
  • Decoration flexibility: molded colors and multiple print processes support mass-market, salon and premium personal-care lines.

How the Foam Pump Works

The pump draws liquid through a dip tube while a separate air chamber supplies air. Both streams enter a mixing chamber and pass through a fine mesh, producing foam at the actuator. Releasing the head resets the liquid and air pistons for the next stroke.

Foam density is controlled by the complete system—not the bottle alone. Formula viscosity, surfactant blend, pump engine, air-to-liquid ratio, mesh, valve, dip tube and operating temperature all affect the result. The buyer should approve liquid dose and visible foam volume as separate measurements.

Formula Compatibility

A foaming pump generally requires a low-viscosity, free-flowing liquid designed to foam. Ordinary thick hand soap, gel shower wash, conditioner, lotion, scrub, undissolved powder and particle-containing formulas are usually unsuitable. A formula may be thin but still create weak foam if its surfactant system does not match the selected mesh and air ratio.

Do not dilute a preserved finished product with tap water merely to make it flow through a foamer. Reformulation can change preservation, microbial safety, stability and regulatory status. Use the production-intent formula to test:

  • viscosity at controlled temperatures;
  • first priming and actuator force;
  • liquid dose per stroke and foam volume;
  • bubble size, density, wetness and stability;
  • pump recovery, sputtering and dripping;
  • mesh clogging and residue after storage;
  • performance near empty;
  • compatibility with oils, fragrance, alcohol, salts, actives and preservatives.

What the Viewing Strip Can and Cannot Do

A viewing strip is commonly formed by leaving a narrow vertical section in the bottle’s natural translucent HDPE state while the surrounding body is colored or decorated. It provides an approximate liquid-level view, but it is not as transparent as PET or glass.

The strip width, position, color boundary and readability depend on the mold, extrusion process, pigment and formula color. Ask for a filled sample because a pale cleanser may be difficult to see through natural HDPE, while a strongly colored formula may be more visible. Screen printing and labels should not cover the strip unless intended.

HDPE Compared with PET, PP and PETG

Material Advantages Limitations
HDPE Strong impact and chemical resistance, lightweight, economical and practical Naturally translucent or opaque rather than glass-clear; softer visual finish
PET High clarity, rigid feel and polished retail appearance Formula and stress-cracking compatibility require testing
PP Widely used in pump parts; good fatigue and chemical resistance Usually opaque and less rigid than PET
PETG / PCTG Premium clarity and substantial appearance Higher cost and recycling acceptance varies by market

43mm Neck, Pump Fit and Stability

A 43mm pump is not automatically compatible with every 43mm bottle. Confirm the neck finish, thread profile, sealing surface, pump-engine clearance, closure engagement and gasket or plug structure. The pump should be supplied with or qualified against the selected bottle rather than sourced independently by visible diameter alone.

Foam actuators are wider and often require more downward force than a conventional lotion pump. Bottle shape, base footprint, wall weight and center of gravity must therefore be checked for one-hand stability, particularly for taller 600–700ml formats.

Leak Prevention and Pump Reliability

  1. Approve one matched bottle, neck and foaming-pump configuration.
  2. Freeze the pump engine, mesh, seal and dip-tube specification after testing.
  3. Set the correct dip-tube length and cut angle for each capacity.
  4. Control closure torque to avoid loose seals or distorted threads.
  5. Maintain sufficient headspace so liquid cannot enter the air chamber.
  6. Test upright, side and inverted storage using the actual formula.
  7. Run heat, cold, vibration, drop and transport simulation.
  8. Check priming, return speed, foam consistency, clogging and near-empty output.

Color, Logo and Decoration

Natural, amber, white, black and custom Pantone colors can be reviewed. Because HDPE is naturally translucent rather than clear, the requested “clear” option should be described as natural translucent unless a different resin is selected. Frosted or matte appearance may come from the resin surface, mold texture or a secondary coating; the exact process should be stated in the quotation.

Silk screen is a practical choice for simple logos. Digital, heat-transfer, UV and water-transfer printing may support more detailed graphics, while hot stamping or metallized accents can add a premium effect. Each process needs adhesion, abrasion, formula and humidity testing. Provide editable vector artwork, Pantone colors and the required viewing-strip position.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Project definition: confirm capacity, shape, neck, viewing strip, formula, pump, color and decoration.
  2. HDPE extrusion blow molding: form the bottle and control weight, wall distribution, neck and strip position.
  3. Pump-component molding: produce the actuator, closure, chamber, pistons, valves and related components.
  4. Pump assembly: install mesh, spring, seals and dip tube to the approved specification.
  5. Decoration: apply printing, stamping, labels or other approved finishes.
  6. Functional testing: check bottle-pump fit, torque, priming, output, foam and leakage.
  7. Packing: protect pump heads, viewing strips and decorated surfaces during transport.

Quality Control

Recommended checks include resin and masterbatch verification, bottle weight, nominal and overflow capacity, height, diameter, neck dimensions, wall distribution, base stability, panel deformation, viewing-strip position, color consistency, pump fit, closure torque, dip-tube length, pump output, foam quality, actuation force, leakage, print adhesion and carton protection.

A signed physical limit sample should define acceptable molding lines, color variation, strip boundary, decoration registration and surface appearance. For formula-sensitive projects, approve filled pilot samples before mass production.

Markets and Use Scenarios

This series is suitable for cosmetic and personal-care brands, hand-soap companies, lash-care brands, salons, spas, hotels, private-label manufacturers, importers, distributors and e-commerce programs. The 300ml and 350ml formats work well for consumer bathrooms and salon counters, while larger sizes may suit family or commercial use.

Safety, Environmental Claims and Reuse

The listed bottle uses new HDPE and the pump is mainly PP, but the complete pack contains additional internal parts. Claims such as BPA-free, recyclable, recycled-content or food-safe should be supported by declarations or testing for the final configuration and target market. ISO 9001 is a quality-management certification, not a product safety certificate.

HDPE is widely recognized in recycling systems, but the multi-material pump should normally be removed. Actual recyclability depends on local collection, pigment, decoration and component separation. Refillability also requires hygiene, cleaning and pump-life evaluation because dried cleanser can block the mesh and repeated opening can introduce contamination.

MOQ, Pricing and Tooling

The standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces per capacity, shape, bottle color, pump color and artwork unless the written quotation allows mixing. Pricing depends on bottle grams, viewing-strip process, selected mold, pump engine, mesh, output, color, decoration, packing, testing and Incoterm.

No new structural mold is normally required when an existing BY-E350 bottle shape and pump meet the project and only the color or logo changes. Printing screens, plates, fixtures and color matching may still carry setup costs. A new shape, custom viewing-strip geometry, different neck, new capacity or proprietary actuator requires engineering drawings, tooling and additional lead time.

OEM/ODM Process and Lead Time

  1. Send capacity, shape, formula, viscosity, foam target, color, decoration, quantity and destination.
  2. Confirm the existing mold, 43mm neck finish, viewing strip, pump engine, mesh, output and dip tube.
  3. Receive samples and conduct formula, dispensing, leakage and stability tests.
  4. Approve bottle weight, strip position, color, artwork and functional sample.
  5. Confirm quotation, payment terms, inspection standard, packing and schedule.
  6. Begin mass production after sample approval and deposit.
  7. Complete final inspection, documentation and shipment.

Existing samples are normally prepared in about 3–5 days when components are available. Custom-color or decorated samples generally require about 7–15 days. Mass production is commonly planned for approximately 30–45 days after final approval and deposit. New tooling extends the development schedule.

Packing, Logistics and After-Sales

Bottles and pumps may be packed separately or assembled according to filling and cleanliness requirements. Inner bags, partitions, trays, caps or transport clips help prevent contamination, scratching and accidental pump activation. The platform’s 20 × 15 × 10cm and 1.0kg data should not be used for bulk-shipping calculations.

Sea freight is generally economical for customized orders, while air freight or express is suited to samples. For a claim, provide the purchase order, batch number, carton label, affected quantity, photos, videos, formula details and test conditions. This helps distinguish problems caused by molding, pump assembly, formula, filling, transport or storage. Learn more about Boyu Packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the main capacities?

The main promoted sizes are 300ml and 350ml. Additional listed sizes from 450ml to 700ml require mold, shape and specification confirmation.

Is clear HDPE available?

HDPE is normally natural translucent or opaque, not glass-clear. Choose PET or PETG if high transparency is essential.

How does the viewing strip work?

A narrow section is usually left natural or less pigmented so the product level can be estimated. Visibility depends on wall thickness, pigment and formula color.

Will any 43mm pump fit?

No. The exact thread, sealing surface, engine clearance and closure engagement must match the bottle drawing and approved sample.

Can ordinary thick hand soap be used?

Usually not without reformulation. A foam pump needs a compatible low-viscosity formula. Test the actual production formula before approval.

Can the bottle shape, color and logo be customized?

Yes. Several shapes and colors are listed, with multiple decoration processes available. Final options depend on the selected capacity, mold and surface.

Does printing require a new mold?

No. Printing an existing bottle normally requires only decoration setup. Structural changes, a proprietary shape or a new neck may require new tooling.

What is the MOQ and production time?

The standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces per configuration. Production is generally about 30–45 days after final sample approval and deposit.
